Overview :
Arresting You Ltd. and Ken Shewchenko (Instructor) are offering an Enform certified Well Service Blow Out Prevention Training Program on:
September 28 - October 1, 2010 & November 2 - 5, 2010
The topics covered include:
- Sources and magnitude of pressures,
- Causes of kicks,
- BOP equipment,
- Kick warning signs,
- Crew positions and duties,
- Well shut-in procedures,
- Calculations and Government regulations.
This course is aimed at the service rig managers, wellsite supervisors, field foremen, production foremen and production engineers who may be involved in well killing operations on a service rig.
The training program is completed in 4, 8 hour days and is limited to a minimum of 15 and maximum of 25 participants, with a 7 day cancellation policy.
A theory exam (pass mark 70%) and a hands-on accumulator function test ensures that the candidate has the knowledge to control a well.
The ENFORM Certificate is valid for 5 years.
The cost of the Program is $695.00 per participant plus GST.
